We are a club providing information exchange for both experienced and novice home brewers with a focus on the art and science of brewing in an atmosphere of fellowship.

The club meets at 7:00 PM on the second Tuesday of each month, usually at Stein Fillers in Long Beach, CA (562-425-0588). If you are 21 or older you are welcome. Bring a chair and join us.

Our plan is to sample a specific style of beer at each meeting. This will give everyone experience in brewing to a specific style. At each meeting, a raffle is held for a Stein Fillers gift certificate or other goodies.

The dues are $15 per year. This covers the cost of our website, newsletter, The Brews Telegram as well as parties, contests, prizes, and other club events. As a bonus, members of Long Beach Homebrewers get a 5% discount on homebrewing supplies at Stein Fillers.

Email Distribution

We use yahoo groups for our email distribution list as well as to send out announcements about the club. To join please contact George Eldrige at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it

Your Brew Blog

As part of the ongoing development of LBHB.ORG we have implemented a individualized brewing log (blog) system for each member registered at LBHB.ORG. With this system a registered member will be able to post log entries to the LBHB web site! With this you may:

  • Detail your brewery for the rest of the world to see!
  • Show off your products
  • Brag about our group
  • Have a "home page" for your friends and family to see your brewing activity
  • Let others learn from the material you have posted
Making a web brew log entry is quick and easy.  You can cut and paste in the brew sheets from most popular brewing recipe programs and simply post them to the site!  To learn how to start your web brew log click here! (Note that you will have to register and log in)
